In theory and indeed practice, it really works for all the various muscle groups. It's just sometimes harder to access these so called antagonistic muscle groups. And if you did a pre hemstring contraction measurement of your quadruce flexibility, almost certainly you would find that that flexibility had increased. Now we should take a moment and just discuss what actually happens as we get more flexible in the short term and long term.
