Reflecting on our Fear of Death and the Hardwired Morality

Most of us deep down are afraid of death and don't want to think about it. While I don't aspire to live a long and frail life, I still enjoy life. Our fear of death is hardwired into us and is seen in every culture. It suggests that morality is also hardwired. Whether you believe in a benevolent creator or not, the concept of eternity is ingrained in humans. C.S. Lewis's ideas align with this perspective.
