The Psychology of your 20s

NOTE

Embracing the Courage to Be Disliked and Shedding Facades

Embracing the courage to be disliked means attracting like-minded people, fostering more fulfilling relationships, and shedding fake friendships. Creating a facade leads to feeling out of place and surrounded by people who don't genuinely like the real you. Shedding facades may lead to the end of some relationships, as people often expect you to meet their expectations. However, this process helps you clearly see the kind of life you truly want to live and who was only in your life based on their preconceived notions of you. Losing these people or being disliked by them is a small price to pay for the true freedom of the self. While it's important to appreciate others' opinions, it's also crucial not to constantly prioritize making others happy at the expense of your own happiness.
