Progression in Movement Training

In movement training, progression starts with ensuring correct movement patterns before adding load or speed. Once proficiency is achieved in movement and load, speed is introduced. Following this, fatigue is added to test the effectiveness of the movement in various conditions. Progressing by only adding volume without addressing dysfunctional movements can lead to issues over time. True proficiency is demonstrated when movements can be performed perfectly in various conditions and positions, with load, at high speeds, and under fatigue, allowing for versatile and effective training across a range of movement patterns.
