Stephen, you're not being helpful by dismissing the importance of someone's career. The financial crisis and Iraq war made people doubt the future for their children. It's not just about tomorrow, but the children's tomorrow. Energy, climate change, poverty, and healthcare are key factors. Providing a good education and love is important, but the rest is up to the individual. Children should be told they're loved, as my father said. Education can help combat self-loathing and doubt in the younger generation.
