How to Get Rid of Anxiety

Resisting and worrying about pain and negative emotions can result in suffering. By simply feeling these sensations and emotions without resistance, they break apart and change. This can lead to relief and equanimity, even in the presence of unpleasant sensations. The same applies to negative emotions like anger, depression, and fear. When you are willing to feel them fully, they cease to be what they were before and lose their psychological meaning. Anxiety, for example, becomes pure energy and no longer reflects on your self-concept. It is just a sensation, like indigestion or pain in your knee.
