BS 167 Stanislas Dehaene explores "How We Learn"
Brain Science with Ginger Campbell, MD: Neuroscience for Everyone

La plasticidad cerebral es literal y tiene periodos críticos.
Neuronal synapses constantly change, with babies having significantly more synapses which eventually decrease to a more efficient but less plastic state in adulthood. The loss of plasticity is due to both the loss of synapses and the neurons surrounding themselves with rigid molecules. Brain plasticity should be understood quite literally, with movable elements in the brain such as dendritic spines being the substrate of learning.
