A good leader for a company is someone who reveals themselves through conversation rather than relying on resumes. When meeting a company CEO, it is important to listen and let them reveal themselves. By meandering and allowing the person to talk, a sense of who they are can be built. The goal is to understand the biases that may lead to failure. In Silicon Valley, if there is momentum, the traditional rules of finding a good leader may not apply.
