Is There Any Reconciliation?
I think there's a danger in our society of what is being termed presentism. And that is we apply today as norms and standards to behavior decades and sometimes centuries ago. Most of the time, I think the Confederate statues need to come down,. They should go into museums. That's how I would do them.
