NOTE

What Is Nestagmus?

The first thing you do is check to see whether they haven't a stagmus. And when i say nestagmus, i mean spontaneous nestagmus. So meaning that it's present a with the patients just looking straight ahead and minding their own business. The next thing you want to do, whether or not you see that, is to check their different fields of gaze. You want to have them look left, looks right, look up, look down, and you want to see if, you if the mistagmus was there,. If it changes or what direction it's going in the different fields of gazing.
