Balancing Personal Responsibility and Helping Others: Meeting People Where They Are
We need a better balance that considers personal responsibility, individual choice, and helping people improve. We should meet people where they are, without imposing our views on them, but also not leaving them there. We should help the homeless get to a better place. There is a lack of conservative alternative vision, particularly in the Republican side. Agency and hope are closely related, both operating on the same neurological circuit. Believing in one's ability to make a difference is a positive and hopeful outlook.
