The Objective Meaning of Meditation
Meditation is defined as the objective emptying of consciousness, devoid of personal judgement, opinion, or experience. This emptiness leads to an absolute quietness of the mind and brain, which is essential for true observation, rather than mere experience. Humans often seek sensory experiences and new dimensions to escape the limitations and boredom of the current world. However, seeking experiences implies recognition, which is tied to the past, thereby negating the authenticity of what is deemed 'supreme'. For a genuine meditative state to occur, it must be free from past recognitions and experiences, indicating that true meditation transcends time.
