Gun Control vs Person Control
In my branch of, sort of the gun wrights movement, we think much more of person control than gun control. Controlling who are the people who can purchase and possess is a very different issue to controlling what are the weapons o able now. I don't believe we should have freely available machine guns or bazukas or, you know, any tank weapons. But amongst the weapons that are common and commonly in use for a lawful purpose, it is much more practical to aim at the people who are not fit to possess a weapon. And so therefore you're getting the law backwards.
