The banking system has falsely constructed a yield curve by creating a half percent interest and investing it which resulted in deposit flight going into the reverse repo via the money market funds./nThe Fed will have to cut rates very fast at some point due to the deposit flight./nThe debt ceiling debate is likely to run on until probably mid-year, which is a frustration and not helpful.
