The young man, despite being bookish, turned into a bad person who shot two individuals in cold blood. He was not remorseful for being denied anything to read while imprisoned for these heinous acts. His eventual death in prison, marked by tuberculosis, was in April 1918. It is noted that he left a chilling message on the wall of his cell, implying his ghosts haunting Vienna and the palace to scare the Lords.
