NOTE

Preservation of Chromosomes into ChromoGlass

Flesh dehydrates rapidly, causing the nucleus of the cell to dry out quickly, preserving chromosomes into a sturdy solid called chromo glass. The process mimics beef jerky-making at a colder temperature. Chromoglass is a non-crystalline structure that arrests molecular movement by cooling and removing water, creating a molecular traffic jam. Even samples of low quality, like crickets or roadkill, still contained chromoglass, as discovered by Dr. Aiden and his team.
