The Importance of Questioning Your Boss's Requests

When someone, like a boss or a peer, suggests something that doesn't make sense to us, our first instinct shouldn't be to assume they're wrong. Instead, we should consider that they may have gathered information and done research that we are unaware of. This applies even if they are our subordinates. Rather than dismissing their ideas, we should be open to the possibility that we may be personally uninformed.
