There is a proposal under consideration to add a feature to JavaScript where just like Python it will ignore certain syntax when running the JavaScript code./nThis would mean that eventually if you wanted to use TypeScript in a JavaScript environment, you could do so without translation./nThe interesting thing in the JavaScript world at least the web browser world is that browsers have changed how they deploy and update their JavaScript engines, so there is less of a need for translation in JavaScript itself.
