NOTE

The Importance of Refactoring and Polishing in Writing Practice

In my writing practice, I've found that refactoring, revising, and polishing my notes at different levels of fidelity has been extremely useful. I start with daily notes and scraps, and when something stands out as a significant idea, it becomes its own note that can be linked to from other places. Over time, these notes accumulate and form larger elements, like theories or noun phrases. The goal is to refine and create higher order abstractions. I'm curious to know how you approach this in your writing. Muse supports this practice, but it's not mandatory.
