The Origins of Coffee Establishments in England

Coffee was introduced to England by a Turk, a Lebanese, and an Assyrian. The first coffee establishments were opened in the 1650s and are still in operation today. These establishments include the Queen's Lane Coffee House and the Mac Cafe. Coffee's journey from Africa to Europe percolated through the Middle East.
