Introducing Kids to Spices Through Favorite Dishes

Many spices are aromatic and layered, not just hot and spicy. Kids can be introduced to spices through their favorite dishes and drinks like chai and golden milk. These beverages can be made with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and nutmeg, offering warmth and comfort. Creating rituals around food with spices can be lovely. One impressive spice dish is oven-roasted tandoori cauliflower, marinated with yogurt, ginger, garlic, tandoori spice blend, lime juice, and various spices. It is served with pickled onions and Greek yogurt. Starting slow with spices and gradually incorporating them into favorite dishes is key.
