The Importance of Growth and Development in Aristotelian Wisdom

Soi is interested in our development./nHe's going to add something that was missing from the socratic notion of wisdom./nEber the socratic notion was trying to overcome self deception./nAnd then plato adds a whole structural theory of the psyche to explain how we overcome self deception, how we become wise and achieve wisdom./nBut what's missing in the account of wisdom and meaning, according to aristotle, is an account of growth and development./nHow does wisdom develop? How does meaning develop?/nWell, this is where we get something that we talk about and we use in our language, but we don't, I think, get the depth of what aristotle's talking about.
