His background is in high-performance sport as a coach and coach developer. His previous roles include coaching at Leicester Tigers and pathway coaching lead at the English Institute of Sport. He also works as a coach developer with a portfolio of work across Olympic sport, professional football and rugby union.

His research focuses on performance enhancement in sport, specifically in coaching, coach development, high performance and talent development.
