Gay marriages are now commonplace and just as boring as straight marriages. There is an extraordinary embrace and tolerance that would have been inconceivable in the past. The development has opened up other ways of being sexually. People are fighting for their space and patrolling the boundaries of what can be said, but in 20 years it will all be completely tolerated. It's like the bar scene in Star Wars, with every kind of sexual expression being accepted.
