American history education, US military control, and limited imagination

American history education in high school mainly focuses on the Constitution and the founding fathers, with little emphasis on 20th-century history. The lack of vision and ambition among US military leaders makes it unlikely for them to seize control of the government unless faced with a significant crisis. The inability of the Constitution to adapt to extreme shifts in material conditions and political reality may eventually lead to a deep crisis. Limited imagination is attributed to the decline in meaningful communication among people.
