NOTE

Achieving True Stasis

The primary endpoint in embolization procedures is to achieve true stasis by ensuring there is no integrated flow. It is crucial to wait a minute after the last embolization to allow the process to take effect. The embolization process is slow, with a cc typically going in over a minute. To achieve stasis, additional beads may be provided, gel foam slurry may be used, or a small coil may be inserted on the way out.
