The Progressive Overload Weights System involves adjusting the weight based on the number of repetitions you can perform. If you exceed the target repetitions by two or more, the weight increases by 2.5%. Conversely, if you perform two or fewer repetitions than required, the weight decreases by 10%. The system adapts to your performance each set and each week, aiming for a 5 to 10 pound increment. The key is to adjust the weight based on your performance to achieve optimal results.
