The fastest way to solve a problem is to identify what you want and avoid the default response of complaining. After radically accepting the situation, the next step is to set a clear target by asking what you want, followed by taking control of thoughts and behaviors to move toward that target. This process allows one to reclaim agency and joyfully enter the discomfort zone, aligning with the philosophy of Stoicism. By framing up, thinking about, and responding to life's challenges, individuals can reclaim their power and agency.
In this episode, I speak with Brian Johnson, the Founder & CEO of Heroic Public Benefit Corporation. Brian is the author of a new book called Areté: Activate Your Heroic Potential.
