John Henry Darby founded a denomination called the Plymouth Brethren, which believed that the Bible showed that God dealt with humanity differently at different periods of time./nHe thought that when people read the Bible carefully, they could see that the Bible was set up to show that God would take people out of the world before the end of the Christian period./nHe called his idea the secret rapture because he said the Bible says no one knows when it will happen.
