Community organizing can be akin to entrepreneurship, with a leader uniting a vision and bringing value to the community. However, with the network effect and technological tools, communities can thrive even when the leader is not present. The transition from a founder-centric community to a vibrant, tech-amplified community is evident in examples like Alcoholics Anonymous and Weight Watchers. Communities have the potential to exist on a much larger scale, and there is a vast unexplored territory for the creation of new communities.
