NOTE

Is There a Need for Milk?

Skim milk is not healthier than full-fat milk, and there's no clear daylight between them in terms of any health benefits. Full-fat milk is slightly better and has more nutrients. The myth that the fat in milk is particularly bad for you has been largely dispelled. There is no health reason to switch to alternative plant milks. Calcium and milk are no longer believed to be crucial for bone health. Both milk and calcium supplements don't seem to help prevent fractures. Milk has gone from being either really bad for you or really good for you to somewhere neutral. We should drink less milk for the planet and look for higher quality options. Plant milks are not necessarily healthier, they contain other ingredients and are more highly processed. Personalization plays a role as some people may react badly to certain plant milks due to sugar peaks.
