NOTE

The Shift from Blame to Responsibility: Exploring Scientology's Beliefs

The shift in Scientology from blaming external factors for one's problems to taking full responsibility for everything as a spiritual being is a central belief. Initially, Scientology presents the message that everything wrong with an individual is not their fault, serving as the bait to attract followers. However, as one progresses in Scientology, the belief evolves to emphasize that as a spiritual being, everything is the individual's fault and assumes full responsibility. This shift distinguishes Dianetics from Scientology. Scientology introduces the concept of removing one's own reactive mind, followed by the revelation of being parasitized by other spiritual beings' reactive minds. The process then involves telepathically counseling these entities to detach from the individual. This principle of transitioning from addressing one's own reactive mind to handling these attached entities persists across all levels of Scientology.
