In the future, every person will have an AI assistant with a 200 IQ that can offer guidance and improve decision-making. This could lead to a happier society, according to Mark Andreessen. However, there are concerns about becoming too dependent and manipulated by the control of these assistants. Short-term concerns include misinformation and the creation of convincing simulated beings online.

The two hottest topics in tech right now are the rise of generative AI and, with Apple’s recent push into spatial computing, the mainstreaming of augmented reality.
