The History of Israel

Israel, known for its self-promotion and self-regard, has faced failures in its conflicts with organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. Despite being weaker, these organizations have given Israel serious problems. Israel's failures in 2006 and 2014 in the Gaza Strip exposed its focus on land theft and working with settlers. It wrongly assumed that both Palestinians and the Arab world had given up on confronting Israel. Israeli society has also seen significant changes, such as the exemption of the ultra-orthodox from military draft.
