Focus on Making Offspring Proud
It is a common mistake to focus on making ancestors proud when the real focus should be on making offspring proud. Ancestors will not benefit from our choices, but our future generations will. There is a greater responsibility towards the future than towards the past. History is about understanding change and correcting present and future injustices, which may require forgiving injustices of the past for peace and progress.
