Start with a Bad Draft
When starting a blog, the speaker finds it easier to quickly draft their thoughts on a forum rather than for a blog post. The strategy is to overcome procrastination by swiftly getting a rough draft out, even if it's terrible, and then iteratively improve upon it. The brain is wired to better enhance something bad to good rather than creating something good from scratch, as it's easier to identify what could make a bad draft slightly better.
