A Street Musician's Perspective

There is no point of people buying your book and then dropping off after the first chapter. I was a street musician for a long time, and i hitch iked across north america playin an acoustic guitar. And i if i took that guitar to a free way on ramp to play some music and put my hat on the ground while somebody's sitting down in front of me - they'd be like 'What are you doing? What do you want?' It would just kind of make them feel at home. You have to earn their attention before you can really get it. The circus experience gave me this perspective about how fickle peoples' attentions are.
