Discerning Growth in Virtue

There are two kinds of comparison when striving for virtues: one that inspires and calls us forward, and the other that might lead us astray if we are not discerning. It is crucial to seek guidance from those more advanced in their spiritual journey to ensure we are focusing on the virtues the Lord wants us to develop rather than solely on flaws. By being discerning and focusing our energy on the right areas of growth, we allow the Lord to help us in rooting out our flaws effectively.
