In the book, The Nakamari Text, author James Redfield suggests that there may have been esoteric teachings by Jesus that he reserved for his closest disciples./nThe Gospel of Mark, one of the earliest of the New Testament Gospels, says that Jesus spoke privately to his disciples, telling them only certain things. Other texts, like the Gospel of Thomas, suggest that these teachings were spoken by Jesus himself.
