Inverting the two great commandments - loving God first and then loving others - poses dangers. Placing loving others before loving God can result in squeezing God into personal boundaries. Prioritizing loving God first provides boundaries and freedom. Loving God enables individuals to appreciate his commandments, thereby loving others through helping them see the beauty of following these commandments.
