Aligning Desires with the End Goal

To live in imitation of Jesus is to be honest about wanting to align our desires with the ultimate destination of becoming like Jesus. It involves living each day with the end goal in mind, focusing on what truly matters in the long run such as love and relationships. This journey requires both resisting superficial desires and intentionally directing our deepest desires towards the ultimate goal. By identifying and being trained by our deepest longings, we can align our lives with our true purpose without suppressing desires.
