The research highlighted a significant disparity in media coverage during the conflict, where Palestinian deaths were reported less proportionally to the Israeli deaths and hostages. The study revealed that for every two Palestinian deaths, Palestinians were mentioned once, while for every Israeli death, Israelis were mentioned eight times, showing a significant bias. The data set covered the first six weeks of the war, before a humanitarian pause lasting six to seven days. The findings suggest a stark imbalance in reporting, with Palestinians receiving significantly less media attention compared to Israelis.
