Pre-Bunking Misinformation: Discrediting Truth

When ordinary citizens uncover something suspicious, our secret operation is to discredit them. We use the language of the GEC to pre-bunk their claims. While we're familiar with debunking misinformation, what do we do when someone spreads inconvenient truths? That's where pre-bunking comes in. It's like debunking, but for harmful information. For example, if someone exposes the harsh reality of the war in Ukraine, it would undermine our efforts to pressure Putin. So we pre-bunk that kind of information to maintain the desired narrative.
