Individuals should strive for equal representation in advocating for their interests from the government, not hesitating to push officials for their demands even if it risks support for other candidates or sectors. Every group, be it the gun lobby, charter school movement, APAC, or big media, actively represents their interests to officials, and individuals should similarly engage in advocating for their needs and holding officials accountable.
