The Value of Research is That it Moves the Conversation Forward

I don't read gen pop books because the arguments are so poor most of the time when they make a claim. The claim is also not supported by outside research, and then the claim isn't critiques or reflected upon in the book at all within the text from what I've seen. And if you're not critiquing your idea, your own idea inside of the book, you're automatically creating misconceptions. As soon as you have someone's own interpretations of the idea you're pushing... You're pushing your idea or your argument. Now it's UV them. It's the writer versus the reader. That's not the point of an argument. An argument is to make people aware of both
