Democracy produces fascism
Fashism has always and only emerged out of and inside democratic societies. The black radical tradition, which has always informed my work, has continued to help me see that that's what we're facing. I've realized how important that frame is, because oligarchy can lead to facies solutions to national problems. Oligarchy plus racial division will lead to militarized police forces that enforce massed attention on minorities and opponents to preserve the oligarchy.
