Queer Community Building - Is Moderation a Priority?

i've consistently heard when interviewing community builders who are focused on marginalized groups, it's like one of the fundamental things that they do differently is invest in moderation from d one. i think one of the queer things about d e and i is like, if folks don't see themselves represented at an early stage, why would they join that community? And that becomes a no snowball effect overtime. If you're not thinking about it, not being mindful, then there's absolutely no representation,. thus no feeling of come on in and join us. We want you to be a part of it.
