Training Triage for Unexpected Dog Behavior
In moments of unexpected dog behavior, training triage is needed. This involves stopping the reinforcement the dog is getting. Higher level reinforcement like squeaky toys or funny noises can be used to divert their attention. However, if the dog is engaged in stealing another dog's toy in the water, it may be difficult to find a reinforcement that can surpass that.
