I Got Into War With A Woodchuck

The speaker went to war with a woodchuck, and thought it was the first essay they wrote about the subject./nThe woodchuck was able to keep destroying the speaker's plants, so the speaker went to war and poured molasses and creosote down the woodchuck's hole./nThe woodchuck didn't seem to be affected by the chemicals, so the speaker escalated the war by pouring gasoline down the woodchuck's hole./nThe woodchuck eventually died from the fire, and the speaker realized that what he was doing was wrong.
