Embrace Freedom, Reject Escape

Human consciousness encompasses both positional and nonpositional awareness, challenging the traditional view of a singular, linear awareness. The feeling of distress often compels individuals to take action, such as helping others, which can lead to a sense of personal satisfaction; however, this satisfaction may stem from an awareness of self-focused motives rather than altruism. This awareness indicates that individuals are often more conscious of their motives than they realize, refuting the need for an unconscious mind that determines behavior beyond one's knowledge. The concept of the unconscious is frequently used as an excuse to evade personal responsibility and the reality of one’s freedom, as individuals may attribute their actions to predetermined plans or societal roles instead of acknowledging their autonomy and the choices they must own.
